Meet our craftspeople

Start your day off with a visit to the Musée du Fjord in La Baie. Then, take full advantage of your stay in our region for a cultural immersion. A great opportunity to discover regional arts and crafts and the creative people who design them. Soap factory, glass blower, and wood sculptor are some of the great craftsmanship you will witness.

Package includes transportation from the hotel to Ville de La Baie and admission to the Musée du Fjord, Olivier Soap Factory, Touverre Workshop Museum, and Vic Dallaire Wood Sculpture Workshop. A meal will be served in a typical La Baie restaurant.

Visits to a studio jewellery workshop and La Pulperie Museum


Make your own souvenir in an original workshop operated by two regional artists who will be elated to guide you through every step of your creative expression. Lunch will be served at Restaurant l'International, where world-inspired cuisine is created with local products. Then, La Pulperie invites you to tour its facilities located on an exceptional historic site in downtown Chicoutimi. The buildings, with their cathedral-like architecture, have witnessed the story of the Compagnie de Pulpe de Chicoutimi and house the exhibits that illustrate regional history. During your visit, a guide will give you a tour of the Museum’s reserve.

Package includes transportation from the hotel to downtown Chicoutimi, visit to the Jones/Robert Workshop, including studio material and judicious guidance from the craftspeople, downtown lunch, and afternoon admission to La Pulperie and its reserve, or a free afternoon in the downtown area or shopping centres.

Auberge des 21 owner and chef will reveal his culinary secrets in this gourmet workshop, during which you will assist him in preparing regional fare. Discover the mouth-watering flavour of modern cuisine inspired by local and Native traditions with renowned chef Marcel Bouchard. Regional products, wild foods, and aboriginal products featured! Following your kitchen toils, savour the fruits of your labour in the warmth of the inn’s dining room.
Package includes transportation from the hotel to Auberge des 21 in La Baie, gourmet cooking items and equipment, sagacious instructions from the chef, and, from your hands to the table, a regionally concocted meal.
